Pulsbio is founded after research into biodiversity, the food transition, organic farming and the bioavailability of minerals in plant-based diets. Our purpose: to change how food is produced and consumed.
With the support of Italian universities, Pulsbio connects farmers, processors, traders and retailers in a short, fair organic supply chain built around legumes.
Pulsbio arrives in Sicily. With local agronomists and professors, the first 300 hectares are sown.
A dedicated processing partnership is set up for cleaning, sorting and quality control of gluten-free grains, legumes, seeds and nuts.
Our partner plant becomes fully operational, cleaning up to 60 metric tons per day. Pulsbio starts sourcing organic cashews, legumes and seeds in Tanzania.
A logistics hub in the Netherlands handles all imports into Europe. Pulsbio obtains IFS Broker certification.
Naturland and Fairtrade certification. The range grows into seeds, nuts and flours from origins across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
The team grows with dedicated quality & operations, finance, logistics and sales for France/Belgium and the DACH region. Pulsbio moves onto Odoo ERP, exhibits at SIAL Paris and completes its Europe Soya audit for a fully traceable organic soy chain.
