From field to factory: we source, check, move and deliver traceable ingredients for Europe’s food industry.
Certified organic, Demeter, Naturland and Fairtrade, alongside selected conventional lines.
Pulsbio sources, quality-checks, stores and delivers pulses, grains, pseudo-cereals, seeds, nuts and flours to food manufacturers, packers and wholesalers in 25 countries. We supply in bulk, big bags and bags, and have products cleaned, sorted and repacked to customer specification at our partner facilities.
Quality and traceability. Every lot is sampled, analysed by an independent laboratory and tracked in our own ERP. Our quality system is certified to IFS Broker Higher Level.
Worldwide sourcing. We buy through a network of more than 6,000 farmers in Europe, Central Asia, Africa, Asia and the Americas, with a strong base in Italy and Kazakhstan as a key origin for organic lentils.
From farm to factory, we manage the whole chain.
- Direct contracts with farmers and cooperatives, including farmers converting to organic.
- Supplier approval, sampling and independent lab analysis of every lot.
- Cleaning, sorting, metal detection and repacking at partner facilities, to customer specification.
- Transport across Europe by road, sea and intermodal, with warehouses in the Netherlands and Italy.
- Customs clearance and organic certificates of inspection (COI) in TRACES.
- A fully traceable European organic soy chain under the Europe Soya and Naturland standards.
- Fairtrade-certified cashews and Demeter-certified grains and pulses.
- Specification sheets, flow charts and full documentation for every product.
- Buckwheat, quinoa, millet and sorghum: forgotten crops for a more diverse food system.
